Welcome to Rix Farms
We are a family farming business based in the stour valley on the Essex / Suffolk border growing onions, potatoes, sugar beet and cereal crops. We aim to maintain and enhance the environment through good agricultural practice and integrated farming techniques.
We produce and supply over 66,000 tonnes of crops grown over 2,350 hectares.
The Rix Family
The Rix Family have been farming in the Stour Valley and Colchester area since 1951. The farm was started by Peter and Jean Rix and is now in its 3rd generation. Here’s John and Bill Rix.
